Alta Girls Lacrosse Coaches
Head Coach - Varsity
Coach Josh came to Alta High School in 2013 after coaching at Woods Cross High School for several years. He brought with him a love for the game that automatically made it fun and challenging for all his players. While coaching at Alta, Josh has led the team to the play-offs every season, making it to the semi-finals twice. Over the years Josh has coached many players who have graduated and played for Westminster College (NCAA D-II), University of Utah, BYU, and UVU. Besides being able to take all of the teasing in style, Josh is able to inspire and motivate his players in every aspect of their lives. One recent graduate said, “I really appreciate how good Josh is. He is just awesome and I feel like I learned a lot of really valuable life lessons from him.”
Danielle grew up in San Diego, California where she played a variety of sports until trying out for lacrosse as a freshman at Poway High School. After her first season, she was hooked and jumped at the opportunity to play college lacrosse. Danielle played NCAA Division III for Southern Virginia University as a starting defender and loved playing against some of the most challenging teams in the U.S. After transferring to the U to study marketing, Danielle is excited to jump into coaching and be apart of the growing Alta lacrosse organization.
